Objective SF100 DRY 100x/0.85

Achromatic plan objective for working in transmitted polarized light. Polarizing objective lenses are designed not to exert stress in order to avoid producing birefringence in the optical system. Plan-achromatic objectives form a focused image equally at the center and around the periphery. This is achieved by correcting geometric aberration over 90% of the visible field area. They therefore pair perfectly with a digital camera or wide-field eyepieces. The combination with a 10x/22 mm eyepiece forms a field of view of 0.22 mm. Additionally, plan-achromatic objectives correct chromatic aberration in two colors (red and blue) and spherical aberration in one color (green). The MAGUS SF100 DRY model has a magnification of 100x and a resolution limit of 0.35 µm. It ensures a useful microscope magnification range of 400 to 800x, which will require eyepieces with a magnification of 5x to 10x. A lower magnification will not allow for effective study of the sample, while a higher magnification will not provide new data. A 0.17 mm protective glass is used for the sample.
