5 Inch Crispy Bottom Pizza Baking Pan

This 5-inch pizza pan is constructed from high-conductivity carbon steel and finished with a durable black non-stick coating. Its fully perforated base (32 evenly spaced 2 mm holes) enables rapid thermal transfer and moisture evacuation during baking. Total weight: 180 g; thickness: 0.8 mm; outer edge height: 8 mm for secure dough containment. Carbon steel delivers superior heat retention over thinner alternatives, ensuring the base stays hot throughout the bake — crucial for blistered, golden crusts. The perforated layout avoids warping under thermal stress and promotes uniform browning from edge to centre. The non-stick surface is PFOA-free and tested to UK food safety standards. Commonly used for artisanal sourdough rounds, gluten-free bases, English muffin-style pizzas, and even savoury crumpets. Frequently chosen by UK-based meal-prep services for portion-controlled baking and by schools for cookery lessons due to its intuitive handling and predictable results.
