Flame failure valve with inlet and outlet featuring Flare thread 5/8-18UNF. Suitable only for low pressure applications (maximum BTU rating: 50,000). Compatible with gas grills, heaters, fire pits, and fireplaces with matching connections. Specifications: - 600mm thermocouple with M8x1 threaded head - Bakelite knob with 38mm outer diameter and 6.1mm shaft diameter Installation and Operation Instructions: 1. Secure the valve to the grill or fire pit panel using the head screw and flange. 2. Connect the inlet and outlet hoses to the respective sides of the valve. Ensure tight connections to prevent gas leakage. 3. Tighten the M8 thermocouple nut securely onto the valve end. (Verify that the valve end thread is 8mm before installation.) 4. Ensure proper connection between the thermocouple and the valve thread. 5. Turn the knob to open the gas supply and press the valve for approximately 5–10 seconds until the thermocouple tip is sufficiently heated. 6. Release the valve. If the gas shuts off immediately, check the following: - Ensure the thermocouple tip is in direct contact with the flame. - Confirm the thermocouple is securely connected to the valve. - Verify all inlet and outlet connections are tightly secured with appropriate hoses.
