Damn it: your squeaky ducks splash the water around your bath. Find a way to stop them from splashing water anywhere. In Duck and Cover, a fun and strategic card game, players fight to tame the chaos in their bathtub. Each player takes control of a group of squeaky ducks and tries to leave the least splashes of water by skillfully moving and covering the cards. At the beginning of the game, each player chooses one of seven unique duck families, consisting of twelve cards each. These are laid out in a 4x3 grid in front of the player. The captain of the game draws a card from the draw pile and announces the drawn number. All players must now move the corresponding card out of their lineup, either by covering up another card, or by placing the card in a free spot in the grid. With special cards such as the Max card, which forces players to use their highest card, or the repeat card that repeats the last move, the game becomes even more varied and challenging. Duck and Cover's goal is to have the lowest total score at the end of three rounds of play. Points are collected by the number of visible water splashes on the cards, the less splashes visible at the end of a round, the better. The player with the fewest points wins and is crowned the duck champion of the bath.
