GY-AS7262 AS7263 AS7341 as7343 visible light infrared color color spectrometer sensor module
The AS7262 is a cost-effective, multispectral on-chip sensor solution designed specifically for spectrum ID applications.
The chip is a highly integrated device that provides 6-channel multispectral sensing in the visible wavelength range of approximately 430nm to 670nm, with a full width and half height (FWHM) of 40nm. An integrated LED driver with programmable current is available for electronic shutter applications. The AS7262 integrates a Gaussian filter into standard CMOS, and the silicon is encapsulated in an LGA package via nanooptically deposited interference filter technology, which provides a built-in aperture to control the light entering the sensor array. Control and spectral data access can be achieved in either of the following ways: IC register sets, or via serial UART with advanced AT spectrum commands.

ams AG (Swiss Stock Exchange: AMS), a leading provider of high-performance sensor solutions and analog ics, today announced the launch of the world's first cost-effective multichannel spectral on-chip sensor solution, opening the way for a new generation of spectral analyzers for consumer and industrial applications. Jean Francois Durix, Market Director of Emerging Sensor Systems at AMS, said: "The increasing integration of sensors into smartphones and tablets has formed a new wave of mobile applications, and the introduction of the AS7262 and AS7263 has enabled the widespread use of chat-scale spectral analysis, revolutionizing spectral sensing innovation in industrial and consumer applications. "The new spectral sensing solution greatly reduces the cost and size of spectral analysis, and can be used in a wide range of applications such as food safety, product certification, and routine testing to help better protect people's health and living environment."
In a 4.5 x 4.4mm compact array package, the ultra-low power AS7262 visible light sensor and AS7263 Near infrared sensor each offer six calibrated spectral channels. At a very competitive price point, this new multi-channel spectral sensor opens the door for testing and use in a variety of applications in consumer products and real-world applications. Its main solutions include material and product certification, product quality and integrity, and material content analysis in terms of near infrared spectroscopy (NIR) and visible spectroscopy.
The multispectral sensor uses a new manufacturing technique that allows the nanooptical interference filter to be attached directly to the CMOS silicon wafer with extreme accuracy. The interference filter technology used in the sensor is extremely accurate and stable, independent of time and temperature, and is smaller and more cost-effective than the components commonly used in various spectral analysis instruments today.
The integrated intelligent AS7262 six-channel visible light sensor provides a calibrated digital output via an I2C or UART interface. It measures the intensity of light at six different wavelengths in the visible range: 450nm, 500nm, 550nm, 570nm, 600nm and 650nm. The AS7263 can detect the infrared characteristics of the near infrared spectrum at 610nm, 680nm, 730nm, 760nm, 810nm and 860nm. Both products include an electronic shutter with an LED driver circuit, which means device designers can accurately control the light source and spectral detection functions from a single chip.
The small size and low power consumption of the new multispectral sensors make it easy for measurement equipment Oems to develop new products. For example, bulky laboratory-grade analytical equipment can now be replaced by handy handheld devices. In the factory, where samples produced today have to be sent from the production line to the laboratory for chemical analysis, quality testing in the future will be done on the produc
