But the carved type helps to clearly distinguish different types in a very short time. If you are a beginner, you can use 7C first, that is easier to sound when playing. After practicing, when the lip muscles become stronger, you can consider changing to 5C, then change to 3C. 3C is the for professional trumpet players.
