STEM Push-Action Bug Observation Box

Measuring approximately 12 × 8 × 6 cm and weighing only around 55 g, this compact bug catcher is made from impact-resistant plastic with smooth, child-safe surfaces. Its defining feature is a direct-push capture action: pressing the top button depresses a soft-seal lid to gently enclose the specimen inside the fully transparent chamber. There are no springs, hinges, or small detachable parts — reducing breakage risk and simplifying cleaning. It is intended exclusively for temporary, humane observation and release, supporting experiential learning in gardens, parks, school grounds, or indoor classrooms across the UK.
