FOR ELV/Steering Lock Emulator Features: MK2751 compatible with BMW E90, E91, E92, E93, E60, E61, E63, E64, and MINI R55, R56. Emulates the ELV (Electronic Steering Lock) module. After connection, the emulator operates as a plug-and-play device—no coding or additional hardware required. It becomes active immediately upon installation. It supports locking and unlocking functions by communicating with the CAS/ELV module. Overview: The ELV is an electronic steering column lock. In case of failure, the vehicle may not start even with a fully functional key, as the ELV does not activate. Replacement and programming of the ELV unit at a dealership is typically expensive and time-consuming. This ELV emulator bypasses a faulty steering lock module, restoring normal operation without requiring replacement or coding. Simply connect the device to restore functionality. Note: - In some cases, fault codes and memory counters in the access system must be cleared using a diagnostic tool. - Installation must be performed by a qualified technician. Fault codes must be reset using appropriate diagnostic equipment. - This emulator is intended for use when the original ELV has been confirmed faulty. - It is designed to emulate a fully functional steering lock module. - Installation guide is not included.
