1. Start up the equipment and enter the matching state. Click the product once, and the product starts and prompts to enter the matching state. 2. Pair the device: Open Apple's "Find My" app. (Phone, Pad, or iPod touch all support the "Find My" app.) Bring the device close to your Phone, Pad, or iPod touch. Tap the "Items" tab in the "Find My" app, select Add Items, and click on Other Supported Items. The app displays the word "smart tag device," then click "Connect." Fill in a custom name for your device and select an emoji. Agree to register the device to your Apple ID. Tap "Bind" to complete the process. 3. Enable Lost Mode: Open Apple's "Find My" app, click on the "Items" tab at the bottom of the screen, and then select the name of the item. Under Lost Mode, click "Enable." Follow the on-screen instructions, click "Continue," and enter a phone number or email address. Click "Next" to confirm the information. 4. Remove device: Open Apple's "Find My" app, click on the "Items" tab at the bottom of the screen, and then select the name of the device. Find "Remove Item" at the bottom of the list and click the "Remove" button.
