Rust-Resistant Bypass Pruning Shears

Durable bypass pruning shears with 2.2-inch (5.6 cm) stainless steel blades crafted for consistent performance across seasons. Measuring 8.3 inches (21 cm) overall and weighing 240 g, they strike a practical balance between reach and control. Handles incorporate soft cushioned non-slip grips and a dependable safety lock. Also supplied with a functional pair of gardening gloves — breathable, fingertip-reinforced and designed for dexterity. Rated for live branches up to 3/4 inch (19 mm), these shears excel on fruit trees (apple, pear, plum), flowering shrubs (hydrangea, buddleia), vines and soft-stemmed perennials. The bypass system ensures minimal tissue disruption — crucial for encouraging uniform bud break and reducing post-prune dieback in sensitive species. Ideal for UK gardeners managing mixed plots, small orchards or balcony gardens — equally useful for precise tip pruning, renewal cuts or harvesting herbs and cut flowers. Their compact footprint and corrosion resistance make them ideal for damp storage environments like garden sheds or outdoor tool hooks.
