Description

Artfully designed Viking band ring made of 925 sterling silver. For women and men. The ring bears the inscription "Loki" in runes and is also decorated with flames. Width: about 6 mm, weight: about 4-5 g (depending on size). The ring is partially oxidized, Background: According to Norse mythology, Loki was very clever, but also very cunning and deceitful. The motif of fire here symbolizes confusion and sorcery. Runen were used by the Germanic peoples from the 2nd to the 14th century, especially for inscriptions on stone. Most of the surviving runic inscriptions come from Viking Age Scandinavia.
