Optically Corrected FD FL to EOS Adapter

A purpose-built mechanical adapter that allows Canon FD and FL-mount 35mm SLR lenses to be mounted on Canon EOS DSLR bodies with EF or EF-S mounts. Its key innovation is a precision-ground, multi-coated optical element that corrects for flange focal distance differences — restoring functional infinity focus and maintaining accurate focus scale indication. The adapter functions manually only: no electronic communication, no autofocus, no aperture automation — all controls remain on the lens. Dimensional specifications are optimised for uniform fit across EOS DSLR generations, from the earliest EOS 10D to the most recent EOS 90D and 6D Mark II. Verified compatibility includes all 5D models (Mark II–IV, 5DS/R), 7D series, 1D series (1D X Mark II, 1D C), Rebel models (XT to T7i), SL1–SL3, and EF-mount cinema cameras such as the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K and Z CAM E2-S6/E2-F6/E2-F8. Not suitable for EF, RF, M42 or any non-FD/FL lens systems.
