Infrared Obstacle Avoidance Sensor Module - This sensor module uses infrared transmitter and receiver tubes to emit infrared light at a specific frequency and detects obstacles within its sensing area. - Function and applications: suitable for robot obstacle avoidance, obstacle-avoidance vehicles, line counting, and black-white line following. - Adjustable detection: detection range from 2 to 30 cm with an adjustable sensing angle of up to 35 degrees. - Easy wiring: the OUT output can be conveniently connected to a microcontroller input, enabling straightforward control and the option to drive a 5V relay directly from the module. - Compatibility and use: designed for 5V logic systems; simple integration with common microcontrollers and small automation projects. - Use scenarios: - Integrate into a compact mobile robot to detect obstacles and adjust course to prevent collisions. - Use in line-following or line-counting setups to detect markers or transitions on black-white surfaces. - Connect the OUT pin to a microcontroller to trigger a 5V relay for stopping a device or activating an indicator when an obstacle is detected.
