The FZ0508 universal adapter expands the utility of your PICKIT3 or PIC ICD2 programmer by enabling broad PIC microcontroller support. It connects to Windows/macOS/Linux PCs using a standard USB port and delivers full-speed 12 Mbps communication for fast code downloads and verification. Its operational voltage range spans 2.0 V to 6.0 V, making it suitable for a wide selection of 8-bit PIC devices — from low-power PIC10/12/16 series to more advanced PIC18 families. The adapter fully supports reading and writing both program memory (for firmware deployment) and data memory (for configuration and calibration storage). Made from robust plastic, it integrates protective circuitry against over-voltage and short circuits — enhancing reliability in shared lab or educational environments. Firmware updates are performed easily through PC software or web interface. Package contains one FZ0508 adapter and one PICKIT3 programmer.
