Description

Black wire connects directly to earth on the outboard. Emergency kill stop switch with lanyard for all outboard motors. Many older outboard motors do not provide protection by cutting off the engine ignition if the operator falls out of the boat. This essential safety device includes a lanyard that attaches to the operator's wrist or clothing and stops the engine in the event of an accident on the water. The switch is normally open circuit and closes when activated by pulling the lanyard. It can also be activated by pressing the red button. If there is no spark in the outboard's ignition system, the existing kill switch may be faulty or stuck in the off position and may require replacement. Material: ABS. Color: Black + red. Package includes: 1 x Emergency Kill Stop Switch, 1 x Kill Switch Safety Tether. No other items included. Note: Lighting and display settings may cause slight color variations between the image and the actual item. Measurement error allowance is +/- 1-3 cm.
