Deze set bevat twee glasvezel patchkabels met LC-connectoren aan beide uiteinden, bedoeld voor het verbinden van singlemode SFP-transceivers, mediaconverters en netwerkapparatuur. De kabels zijn uitgevoerd met een OS2 singlemode vezel van 9/125 micrometer, geschikt voor langere afstanden en hoge bandbreedte.De mantel is vervaardigd uit LSZH-materiaal (Low Smoke Zero Halogen), dat bij brand weinig rook en geen halogeenhoudende gassen afgeeft. De keramische adereindhulzen van zirkonium zorgen voor een stabiele en nauwkeurige uitlijning van de vezels. Elke kabel is van een aramidevezelversterking voorzien en heeft een hittebestendige connector.Elke kabel is getest op invoegverlies, waarbij voor singlemode een invoegverlies van maximaal 0,3 dB en een retourverlies van minimaal 50 dB wordt aangehouden. De kabels voldoen aan de normen TIA/EIA 568-C.3, TIA/EIA 604-10, IEC 60793-2-10 A1b en zijn CE-gemarkeerd en RoHS-conform.De gele kleur maakt het eenvoudig om verbindingen in een serverkast of patchpaneel te herkennen. De kabels zijn geschikt voor alle gangbare singlemode SFP-transceivers en glasvezelnetwerken.
