Sedum telephium 'Muntstead Dark Red' - Stonecrop - Root vegetable - 4 pieces.

Sedum telephium 'Munstead Dark Red', also known as Stonecrop, is an easy-to-grow and sturdy perennial that brightens up your garden in late summer and autumn. From August to October, it blooms with beautiful, dark pink to brick-red flowers that grow in full clusters on sturdy stems. The plant grows to about 40-50 cm tall and has grey-green foliage that complements the striking flower colour well. It can sometimes spread out a bit, but that does not make it any less suitable for a border – it often remains more stable when planted in groups. This Sedum loves a sunny spot and grows well in almost any soil, as long as it is not too wet. It requires little water and is drought-tolerant, making it perfect for a sunny garden or a dry corner. Its late bloom brings color when many other plants have already finished flowering, and it attracts bees and butterflies, giving your garden a cheerful atmosphere. You can also use it in pots or as a border plant, but it truly comes into its own in a border with other plants. In terms of care, it is very simple: a sunny spot is enough, and otherwise, it takes care of itself. It is fully winter-hardy, so you don't have to worry about the cold. The 'Munstead Dark Red' is a reliable choice for anyone looking for a plant that adds some zest late in the season. With its dark flowers and easy-going nature, it is a lovely addition to any garden.
